Leader John Lewis

WALKING For a few months some of the older walking group members, have struggled to maintain the speed and length of the walks. It’s not that the planned walks are longer or that people now run, but some of us are not as fit and agile as we once were. However, we still enjoy the company of friends whom we have known for a number of years and have introduced a sub group, now known as the “Doggedly Determined”. At a push we may manage 3 miles, but realistically, 2.5 is our limit. You will be very welcome if you would like to join us and as you can see from previous Newsletters, the walk leaders have managed to sus out a shorter walk for us, which enables us to stay part of that group. We all finish up at the same hostelry for a meal, or snack if you prefer, but sometimes we may start a little later. The contact details of the 2 leaders Tony and John and myself as co-ordinator are in the Newsletter, so if you need to ask for clarification, starting time or negotiate a lift; please talk to one of us.
