NUNEATON O50 FRIENDSHIP CENTRE NEWSLETTER

Our membership year runs up to the June AGM, so renewals are due next month.  Annual cost remains at £20 per person.  All renewals must be accompanied by a signed and dated Data Consent Form.  We currently have a waiting list, so existing members need to renew by 31st August to continue membership

PLEASE BRING ANY BOOKS IN TOUGH carrier bags, and take a bag home for storage

next Salvation Army tinned goods collection is this MONTH – please bring long-dated tins

Please switch all mobile phones to off or silent during the meeting

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING BEFORE 1.15pm.

A white sheet indicates that we intend to run an event – sign up and pay to book your place.

WALKING

All members are welcome to join any walk which you feel is within your capabilities.  Please turn up at the noted meeting place, dressed sensibly for the terrain identified for the walk, i.e. boots or strong walking shoes, waterproofs if necessary, ready to begin the walk at 10.30am. You do not have to ring either myself or the appointed leader to ask if you can come, if I have a contact email address or telephone number, I will let you know if there are changes to the Newsletter. Please note! dogs are not allowed on walks.

Walk is from “The Rising Sun” Shackerstone, Church Rd, Shackerstone, Nuneaton CV13 6NN, distance 4.3 miles two low stiles people can do short walks from pub which is open all day for full English breakfasts and coffee

Non O50 Event

Tenpin Bowling

Join us for two games of Tenpin Bowling for £2.60. We meet on Monday afternoons 1.30pm for social tenpin bowling or Friday mornings at 10.30am for our league games. After the first game we stop for coffee or tea at 50p a cup. You don’t have to be experienced for either – it is a social get together with friends. The venue is at MFA Bowl, Bermuda Park, Nuneaton. Please wear flat shoes if you come. You will be made very welcome.
